Assemblyman-elect Angelo Santabarbara receives resolution for service on Schenectady County Legislature

 

Angelo SantabarbaraAssemblyman-Elect Angelo Santabarbara (D-Rotterdam) is the first Schenectady County Legislator to be elected to the NYS Assembly, and on Thursday night he attended his final meeting. Since 2008, Santabarbara has represented residents from District 4, which includes the towns of Rotterdam, Princetown and Duanesburg.

“Together we have fought to bring millions of dollars in new investments to our area, creating good-paying jobs for our hardworking families.” Santabarbara said to his colleagues in the legislature. “I look forward to continuing our work as I begin my Assembly term in the New Year.”

Legislator Anthony Jasenski presented Santabarbara with a resolution on behalf of the Legislature, thanking him for his service on behalf of his constituents and the county.

“I’ve been blessed to be able to represent District 4 for the past 5 years,” said Santabarbara. “Now I’m ready to take my experience to Albany to do even more for our communities at the state-level.”

The newly-formed 111th Assembly District includes portions of the City of Schenectady, the towns of Rotterdam, Princetown and Duanesburg in Schenectady County, and the towns of Berne and Knox in Albany County, and all of Montgomery County.
